After clinching fifth place in overall standings 2 games ago, Panthers Roseto find
again the win stopping a 2-games losing streak and finishing
Italian fourth League,
called Serie B, from the region of Abruzzo.
First quarter of the game saw balance between two teams, because of the awful shooting percentage of the Panthers but in the second period home team prevailed on boards, increased defense losing any possession to keep the advantage of 39-15.
Then the lead was strengthened by technical difference until the final score of 83-30.
4 players in double digits, but also 3 with double-double, led by 16 from center Emilia Vasile beside the 14 rebounds from forward Marta Pacioni, best rebounder of the team in which all players shot good in FT but were poor in 2%FG with 29/90 (32.2%).
Panthers Roseto finished this season at fifth place with 8Wins and 13Losses averaging 59.5 points per game and allowing 50.9 ppg.
Its best scorer was Chiara Giannitto with 12.8 ppg in 19 games, followed by 8.7 ppg of Federica Di Febo, in 14 matches, and 7.7 ppg from Marta Pacioni, the only players “to start” every game of the season.
