Ettore Messina visited Roseto degli Abruzzi and “L’Aquila per la Vita Panthers Roseto female team.
After the agreement with Giampiero Porzio, doctor from “L’Aquila per la Vita” association, sponsor of the basketball female team of Panthers Roseto, italian coach Ettore Messina spent August the 4th between cities of L’Aquila and Roseto visiting, on the morning, the city hit by earthquake and young players of Minibasket in their Camp. Then he reached Roseto degli Abruzzi where he stopped talking with youngster players of Minibasket Roseto and with girls from Minibasket School Panthers Roseto before of being portrayed in pics along with administrative staff and players of Panthers Roseto. Ettore Messina had on a “L’Aquila per la Vita” sweatshirt in photo next to Dr. Porzio, wearing a “Panthers Roseto” button-neck sweater, to show his participation to the “L’Aquila per la vita” program along with some players and managers of Panthers Roseto. One of the winningest coach in Europe, with his 5 national championships and 4 Russian League won, without forgetting 4 Euroleague Crowns and 2nd place in 1999 European Men Championship with Italy, after the 4-years experience with CSKA Moscow the 50-years old coach will sit on the bench of Real Madrid dealing a 3-years agreement.
